Final Showdown!

This isn't part of the Seventeen Days To Make A Difference, but Mr. Read from Rom 12, our teacher, told us to reflect.
I learnt that if you do a little each day; it turns into something real big!
It was real worth while because when I went to bed each night, I felt really good.
I put in about 8/10 effort.
I think what I said about citzenship was right.

Day 17

9 June, 2009

Today, as my last day of 17 Day To Make A Difference, I decided to try make an even bigger difference.

I did was help take in all the groceries from the car, cause my mother needed help to do so.
She said "Thanks", so I know she appreciated it.

I also took in her heavy (about 10 pounds if you ask me) computer bag & flax bag (1 pound). She said "Thank you Megan" so I know I made use of my hands.

Day 16

8 June, 2009

Today I helped a friend put games on her blog.
I felt good, mostly because she stopped bugging me about it.
She was grateful, I know this because she said "Wow".

I also helped my Mum by taking her bags from the car, but she hasn't noticed as I write this.

Day 15

5 June, 2009

Today, as it was World Environment Day, I decided to be a tree. (I was a pine last year, so I was a Yakka/ Cheery-Blossom this year.)- If your wondering why I put this information; read on...

So, I picked up some rubbish around my house, I think the World appreciated it. I felt like I was finally doing something on World Environment Day.

Day 14

4 May, 2009

I did someone else's Library duty that wasn't mine, just because she didn't show, even through she was at school.

I think this made a difference cause the other Librarains were looking a bit lost because it looked to be a very busy lunch.

Day 13

3 May, 2009

Today I continued the Library competition. I was the only one to show & so I did everything. It was a big HIT!!!

It helped because I stopped a lot of people from being bored and got a couple of people to come to the library, which is also good.

I felt very happy & proud.

Day 12

2 June, 2009

Today I started the Library running comp! It took some stress off the proper adult Librarian, I think, cause it stops her having to follow it up. It also made a couple of students happy searching for the prize-winning book because it gave them something to do & one girl- the winner- was very happy because she went in the draw to buy some CHOCOLATE!!!
